Reform Pittsburgh Now is the first interactive Political Action Committee based in cyberspace and dedicated to ideas. Unlike other Political Action Committees, RPN does not support candidates or campaigns. Our mission is to set the agenda for reforming local government in Pittsburgh by utilizing the social media. Twice a month we vcast the people, places and groups that are making a difference in building the new Pittsburgh. Through the use of two blogs we ask for the input of neighbors and friends to help us to create a reform agenda for City Council.
We want to change the dynamics of local politics. RPN is dedicated to having fun. Local politics can be too divisive, the mission becomes lost to personalities. RPN will raise the bar on local politics and challenge everyone to work for what is best for Pittsburgh. We believe that issues should outweigh special interests and will reach out to educate and entertain our visitors.
