20/20Proof was formed by yours truly, Peter Divito, in 2003. It originated as a small underground music zine based in Pittsburgh. The concept of the magazine began as twenty individuals doing lists of 20 based on a topic they chose or assigned by me. That concept was thrown out the window in issue 4 and limited to myself and a guest doing a top 20 list. For issue 4, J Zone stepped in as a guest writer to tackle “Top 20 Underrated Hip Hop Albums.†20/20Proof will now be me blogging about hip hop and other various topics while putting out the occasional print article.
